On July 31, 2008, ProCentury Corporation, the parent company of the Century
Insurance Group merged with Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. Commenting on the
finalization of the merger, Robert S. Cubbin, President and CEO of Meadowbrook,
stated. "We are pleased with the strong support for the merger we received from
the shareholders of both companies. Both management teams have been working
together diligently to insure a smooth transition into one organization. We are
excited about the numerous growth opportunities created by the merger and look
forward to finally being able to bring these two very disciplined operations
together."
